Yaguchi Mari appeared on Haneru no tobira. Thanks to Orion for clearing up the name-confusion.
This seems to be a prank show where random celebrities are tricked into joining, and in this episode Yaguchi Mari is the target.
She evidently thought she was going to Quiz Hexagon with fellow Hello! Project member Satoda Mai, and even tries to make a phone-call just to make sure this is not a joke, although anyhow you look at it, it clearly is.
It really seems she was taken with her guards down, and doesn't quite seem to be following, until the real show and competition starts, where she gets her act together and accepts the challenge.
It's basically some sort of word-game, where you get challenged by Abu, the show's own witch, and have to make up a word beginning with a specific letter with limited time at your hands. First one who fails loses. Whoever wins get to chose some garment they have to swap.
While Yaguchi is initially wearing a pretty cute outfit with a somewhat odd tie, this surely is something that changes throughout the show.
Given Abu, her challenger, and Yaguchi's difference in sizes, Yaguchi seems really worried about her clothes. We also learn throughout the show that Yaguchi does not exactly buy the cheapest clothes there is, so there might be some genuine reason for it.
It's also clear who is the veteran here, and we get quite some amusing changes before the show is done. This is just so good, I refuse to put out any screenshots of the actual progress. I'll just let you see that for yourself!
