This weeks Yaguchi starts off with a little talk, keeps on with a little talk, and there's a lot of talk. Really. This one is pretty much talk, and I spent quite some time just looking up the visual cues to get a grip at what was happening.
Some of the first stuff that happens, is that they pick up some reader mail, mentioning something about roller-coasters and then proceeds to simulating one on air. Yaguchi also happens to mention her number one roller-coaster: Thunder dolphin (サンダードフィン). Thanks draven for the info.
They keep on talking for a another while until finally the guest is introduced. The guest this episode is Sakura (さくら) promoting the drama Koufuku na Shokutaku (幸福な食卓).
The title meaning something like "Dinnertable of happiness", Sakura and Yaguchi almost immediately starts talking about is food, and Haruki can't help wonder why. After a little more food-talk, Haruki has something to tell the guest, but for once seems to shy to say it. In the end Yaguchi insist on saying it for him: "You've changed your email, right?", implying just what you think.
Yaguchi asks Sakura if she has a boyfriend or something to that extent, which Sakura absolutely denies having. There's a lot of talk, about love and everything, and it can seem like Haruki is trying to get somewhere with the guest, asking all kinds of questions until she finally goes "what?!".
The really weird food-lady from the earlier episodes, Nakanishi Shihori (中西しほり), is back and has made a jelly & marsmellow dance-party themed desert. In the end Haruki's dessert even gets to dance with Sakura's.
But really, apart from this it's almost all talk, so it's kinda hard to follow. Definitely not one of the easy episodes.
In the entertainment news-section we have a few movies covered. The horror/fantasy-movie "Lady in the water" and the DVD-release of "The sentinel". The book covered is "実録男前豆腐店ストーリー", which if we are to believe the title, has a hard focus on tofu.
Clothing wise, in the first half, Yaguchi looks gorgeous and is all in white, with various jewellery and dressed almost (but not quite) like an angel. She definitely looks good, but it still doesn't make up for the fact that very little is happening in this episode.
If you're like me and want to watch every single episode there is of this show, you probably want this one, but it's definitely not for the occasional viewer. The preview for next episode is looking a lot better though.
If you want to check this episode out, you know where to get it. If you just feel like checking out the screens, you probably know where to find those too :P
