This weeks Yaguchi Hitori kicks right off with a guest.
As announced earlier, the guest this week is Kitagawa Keiko (北川景子). While probably best known for her part in Sailor Moon, she also appeared in The fast and the furious 3: Tokyo drift. Now I all of a sudden feel like seeing the thing.
The hosts start talking to Keiko, about her new drama-movie Dear Friends (ディアフレンズー), about various other things, like likings and dislikings and so on.
While Yaguchi and Keiko really seems to get along, Haruki seems rather uninterested in the conversation for most parts. That is until they show a few clips from Tokyo drift unveiling some serious monster engine. That was enough to wake him up, and he immediately joins the conversation.
The conversation continues, and both Yaguchi and the guest seems to fall over laughing no matter what Haruki says. Guess they think he is either really hopeless, really funny or maybe even both.
After this there's a talk with Leonardi Dicaprio, but this time it ain't Yaguchi only. Haruki came along this time, which is kinda surprising and breaking the Yaguchi Hitori interview-traditions. Before they get to see Dicaprio, Yaguchi has to admit to Haruki that just being able to meet Leonardo is nice.
The interview is related to the Japanese release of The departed, the recent Hollywood remake of the Hongkong classic Infernal affairs. This time, to get a halfway decent interview, they actually use a translator for most the questions, and Leonardo tells about how he loves Japan and why, before they move on to talking about the movie itself.
Other releases covered in the usual entertainment news section is My super ex girlfriend featuring Uma Thurman or Gガール as it seems called in Japan. There's also a anime-based, super-japanese looking movie called (劇場版 仮面ライダーカブトGOD SPEED LOVE) that is being covered.
This week's book is called "匂いをかがれるかぐや姫~日本昔話remix" and seems to be a japanese version of a book originally written in English. From what I can get it's more of a japanese rewrite than a direct translation, and Yaguchi is totally in awe about it.
As for clothes and cuteness in this weeks episode, Kitagawa Keiko actually outcutes Yaguchi, and I was totally charmed. I'll need to check out some of her previous (and upcoming) works.
This is definitely another one of the harder episodes, as it's mostly talk, but Keiko really makes it worth it. Get your double cuteness fix at Hello! Online!
