Right. After being remarkably useless when it comes to finishing this, I actually got trough all the episodes. And when I say "got trough", I don't mean that it was crap or anything, because really, it wasn't.
Basically it's been a issue of time, energy and sharpness of the mind. Watching unsubbed shows with the seriously limited Japanese knowledge I have can be rather demanding. Anyway, when I've had the time for it, I always ended up watching around 5 episodes in a row. There's a reason for this: This show is addicting.
I'm not going to post a pr. episode review of Sentou no musume, since that really doesn't make any sense. One thing is spoilers, another thing is that you'll probably watch all the episodes anyway to get the full story.
What I will tell you is that even though it's 45 episodes, even though it story moves kinda slow, even though the intro-music might seem cheesy at first... I just love this show! There's a variety of characters, twists, minor intrigues and all the way hilarious situations or cliffhanger ends that makes you just need to watch the next episode right away.
As far as dramas go, it's not a very deep drama in any way, the story ain't really that credible, but it's all very light-hearted and has a very feel-good touch to it.
Even though it's not subtitled, the show can be pretty easily followed due to the somewhat slow progression in the story and pretty clear context most of the time. I know I enjoyed this show even though probably a good deal of the subtler points were lost on me.
Only thing I regret about watching the show was really that it's only 45 episodes and I'm all trough them now.
When I have time later I will do a full round picture spam with pictures from various episodes. Just that it's 45 episodes to get screengrabs from, so it's kinda too late to do it now :)
