This week's Yaguchi Hitori starts off with some reader mail. There's a little talk about various random stuff like communication courses, dancing and karaoke.
Haruki then moves onto a a writing contest or something. Haruki tries to write "onigiri" properly in hiragana, something he seems to have a little trouble doing. Yaguchi doesn't seem impressed at all, but he insists that it is proper work.
After calling it horrible, she is forced to do better herself. Haruki starts complaining about the direction in which she is writing of all things, commenting how it's not funny at all. Despite excuses, in the end he has to admit she is a better at writing than he is.
After this there's another mail, which evidently comes from a certain Haruki in Tokyo, and Yaguchi immediately gets suspicious. This results in a little talk back and forth before the guest gets introduced.
The guest is Suzuki Asato, a vocalist, and for some odd reason she brings up tofu as a topic and tells us she loves tofu. They then bring up two differents kinds of tofu, and first thing Haruki does is spill on the guest.
They try out a couple of different tofus while talking. After they have gone trough the tofus, Yaguchi and the guest are supposed to do a blind test, and evidently Haruki had a trick planned here. :P
As for the entertainment news, there's the japanese cinema-release of Night at the musuem and the DVD release of Metro movie (地下鉄（メトロ）に乗って).
Book covered is "Minna de kokugojiten! Kore mo, Nihongo (国語辞典！これも、日本語)". Evidently it's some sort of japanese dictionary with words and phrases so odd that not even regular japanese people know them. The hosts have a laugh at some of the different things listed, and Yaguchi tries to come up with a pun but fails :P
Kinda sloppy summary this week, sorry about that, but the episode all in all wasn't really all that good. At least not of your japanese ain't that good, as this one is mostly talk. Also I just got a new server I had to pick up and check out :P
