This weeks episode once again starts off with mail from the viewers.
They read a letter asking what a good thing to do on a date with your boyfriend would be. Yaguchi seems to send the question onto Haruki, stating the importance of this getting answered, as "it may be true love". Haruki is clever and derails off by asking about the "maybe" part of the sentence. As usual it goes back and forth, before Haruki concludes that he doesn't think it's true love.
After a while they move on to the topic "planning a date". Yaguchi then announces her plan for a date: Going to see the movie "Night at the museum", as she thinks it's a really funny movie. What what? That's a pretty tame date for a "idol", ain't it? No really!
After this there is some sketching-contest going on, obviously involving a onion. Surprisingly enough, there seems to be some debate about who the winner is. After the contest is decided, they get some scroll presented, and Haruki can't believe what he sees. While both break about laughing, Yaguchi thinks it's kinda cute, but Haruki just keeps asking "What is this?", evidently somewhat confused or disturbed.
There's another mail coming in, but I didn't pay too much attention here. See, Yaguchi has another outfit and a new hairdo and it's pretty much super-cute. Anyway, this weeks guest, 小野亮 (Ono Ryo), and as far as I can tell, he is the director of a show on TV-Asahi, called "The frogman show" featuring flash-animation.
After a little talk, there's a few clips showing "the greatest improper use of words in history" or something. It seems like most of the hosts are having a good time, but I honestly didn't get anything at all here. Someone please enlighten me :D
For the entertainment news, the "The world of Golden eggs" season 2 dvd box-set is covered. Also covered is "Tenshi no tamago (天使の卵)" featuring Sawajiri Erika. In the book section we have the manga "Samurai kaasan", which simply by its name sounds interesting. I want a copy of this, and I don't even read manga!
Not the best episode ever and kinda verbal beyond what I am able to follow smoothly, but Yaguchi looks cute as always. In the second half she looks absolutely fabulous in that simple, purple-striped top. The otakus might want to catch this one.
As usual: Screenshots and torrent.
