First things first. New location, new studios, new name, new show. Widescreen and high-def format. I love it before it has even started. Yaguchi looks extra cute in this resolution! <3
I guess they really meant business with some of the stuff they mentioned regarding the program renewal. One of the first things Yaguchi comments on, is how awesome this is. When asked what, she replies "everything", so I'm not the only one. We do then get the new title "Yaguchi Hitori Maru-C" (Maru-C = circled C). Sorry for spoiling that :P
Yaguchi comments on the new dressing room and how it makes her feel like a princess. Haruki mentions something about a his being like a toilet. Yaguchi has to take a look and comments on hers being 5 times larger or so, and there's a somewhat loud discussion about this :P
As for new stuff: The old, black pyramid/pole is gone, and we get presented the new one. saying 研究員 (kenkyuuin, or researcher if you like), which seems to for the new sub-title of the show (Entertainment Research). The show also has a new logo, and a bunch of new sponsors. Guess it's going good!
First up is "All the king's men" DVD-release. The movie gets presented by Yaguchi, not the regular movie-lady, which I guess is pretty big news. It seems like Yaguchi like the Yakuza-kind of men btw. I better watch some more Gokusen before going to Tokyo :P
After speaking about Jean Penn, mafia and such, for the first time ever, Haruki takes off his glasses on the show! Just wow. Yaguchi has to look away. It's just a that powerful look.
After this they are to decide the new program manifest. Yaguchi wants the change the time the program gets aired/recorded, seeing as she thinks it's a bit early. Haruki wants the two to swap dressing-rooms, which immediately gets Yaguchi yelling "Muri muri muri muri muri!"
After this there is a quiz. For one part Haruki asks if they shouldn't write their answers in kanji, and when Yaguchi gets things correct, she is ecstatic! XD It turns out that whoever won the quiz got their wish for the program (the manifest thing) trough, and this makes one of the hosts get in a somewhat bad mood when it's all over with, but I promise I wont spoil it :P
There's also a new entertainment section called "Weekly ent-up", with a new girl handling the news. Movies are "Sunshine 2057" and "Metro ni notte (地下鉄（メトロ）に乗って)" which looks like a super-fucked up samurai/adventure/scifi something. As far as I can tell, last one is based on a anime. Both of these look pretty good actually.
So that's it for this week. Yaguchi has a very cute outfit, and the extra resolution just makes her smile look so much better. I can get used to this :)
