As mentioned before, Yaguchi Mari co-hosted a Johnny Depp special for SkyPerfecTV in relation with the Pirates of the Carribbean - At the world's end movie. Mattthecat was nice enough to locate a rip and make a torrent. Somewhat recovering from a hangover, I thought I'd check it out.
The hosts (Yaguchi Mari and Erikawa Guro) introduce themselves. They also make sure to mention how much they love chocolate, before they air a few clips related to Johnny Depp and chocolate (Charlie and the chocolate factory and Chocolate).
Also mentioned are What's Eating Gilbert Grape, his debut-movie, A nightmare on Elm street, Cry-baby, Edward scissorhands and once again Charlie and the chocolate factory. Well. Lots of Johnny Depp movies really. And lots of talk about them, how he has played lots of weird/strange characters and such. Also the Tom Cruise and Edvard Scissorhands casting-thing gets mentioned.
As for really weird, they reserve that title for Fear and loathing in Las Vegas, which happens to be one of my all time favourite movies. They are also playing with some Pirates of the Caribbean merch-merch. Basicly some barrel toy thing where the objective is to insert swords and not kill Jack Sparrow.
This thing is pretty much Johnny Depp, Johnny Depp and then some more Johnny Depp, but honestly, who didn't see that coming? You get some Yagoodness on the side, and also learn that there are bigger Johnny Depp fans in the world than Yaguchi. When it comes to otakuness, Erikawa clearly has all the authority here.
