This weeks Yaguchi Hitori was pretty good. Pretty good indeed.
This weeks episode is divided into two sections. In the first section they do the usual stuff, reads up some of the mail they've gotten. Then Haruki goes about telling these stories he sometimes does, with the beat in the background and all. This week he has plenty!
One is some long story about some guy or girl smoking, which I really didn't get. After that he start talking about Yaguchi and totally takes her by surprise when he gets to the punchline. These parts are usually pretty funny and this one is no exception. Last one is about stress. He goes a long way to explain something that really, really stresses him out: Jpop artist Aiko (Yanai Aiko). I'll let you find out why yourself!
Next section is about that brazilian fighting style, capoeira. Three guests promoting their capoeira excericing DVD gets to challenge our hosts and also do some serious showing off.
Referring to her part in the daytime dorama "Sentou no musume", Haruki challenges Yaguchi to show off her skills. In the end both of them end up being the entertainment. Practicing differents kinds of kicks in turn, none of them turning out even near good, this is pretty amusing.
In the end Yaguchi goes and hides in the back of the studio trying to practice for herself. When called out, she starts complaining about that she really shouldn't have to do this because "she is a woman and all". When she finally gets to it, her low frontal kick ends up looking more like a handplant. Or something. Again pretty amusing.
After this the proper martial artists starts showing off. Yaguchi is clearly impressed and when things get hot, she even seems a little afraid and starts backing off. Now Haruki starts complaining. About Yaguchi.
All in all a pretty good episode. The interaction between the hosts is probably the most amusing part, but you get some cool capoeira and some goofy attempts as a bonus!
