For a brief description of what I knew about this show before watching it click here. I really had no idea what to expect, and I'm not even sure that my translation of that title is anywhere near good.
Anyway: It however turned out to be some sort of quiz show where the contestants gets food as prizes if they get it right.
On this show out favourite guest is presented as "Princess Yaguchi", so it seems like most people are supposed to put on an act. Including the two aliens who seem to be beyond retarded (since they know nothing about earth and all) :P
Show starts off with showing of some food from Okinawa and Yaguchi instantly bursts out that she wants to eat it. This seems to be the price for the first challenge, which starts immediately after this.
This quiz seems to puzzle most contestants. Basically they are to tell whatever just got put on the table in front of them actually is. There are lots of questions about where it belongs and all that to actually help determine what it is.
The whole thing is timed, and when time is starting to run out, only Yaguchi and one of the other contestants are left, and Yaguchi starts panicking, just like we would expect from a Musume in the Hello! Morning competitions, and for half a second you can almost see her give up.
When seeing the price for round two, one of the "aliens" comments something about not being able to eat it (for some reason I have no idea), and when Yaguchi comments that "it might be OK today", it's the others going "eeeh" and not Yaguchi ;)
Not really all that fun, but if you've ever wanted to see Princess Yaguchi this might be OK. Even though I must admit: I think it looks more like a maid-outfit than a princess-outfit :P
