Yeah. A little bit late, but you know how I love posting these, sloppy or not :P By the way: This makes for my 10th update today. Whoah!
This episode starts off with some mail, where Yaguchi gets complemented for her performance in Damn Yankees, and Haruki taking a stab as usual. We have the regular firing back and forth until Yaguchi side-tracks Haruki with asking "But you like me, right?" This brings up comparison to other people, like Itou Midori.
After fooling around for a while Haruki suggests they do "Yaguchi Hitori: The musical". Guess he is jealous of Yaguchi's recent jobs :P As you can see from the screenshots, Yaguchi is not entirely confident that the two of them alone could pull of musical, despite Haruki's best attempts at convincing her.
DVD covered is the Tonarinokai series (隣之怪シリーズ), with release date July 20th. The guest in this occasion is Natsukawa Jun. They talk a little about various things like food and tennis.
We get to see some clips from the movie as usual, and this seems to be one of those psychological thrillers the Japanese excel at (Wes Craven can suck it). I mean... Just the previews give me total creeps. Main theme this week seems to be horror.
After talking a little back and forth there's this section (where I honestly failed to get the name), but it's about scary comic haikus and all of a sudden everyone is wearing "candles" on their heads plus various horror pimp. The tell stories and even read a few sent in by mail, one even involving Yaguchi and Haruki :P
Weekly recommendation's are presented by Ikoma Ikou (生駒行雄, there you go Matt), which according to Japanese google is totally, totally unknown. The movie he has chosen is Happy feet. Definitely not my kind of thing, but Yaguchi manages to get out of Haruki that he wants to see it.
After this there's a competition where the hosts have to put their feet in freezing cold water. Women are supposed to have better pain-tolerance than men, so this one is actually one where Yaguchi has a good chance of winning :P
One a side note: Yaguchi is wearing a T-shirt saying "I'll be hot. You'll be n♥t" (with a heart). Hilarious.
Movie also covered is Our happy times (私たちの幸せな時間). A somewhat misleading or itonical title, it may seem. We also have the NIP/TUCK DVD box-set, released a couple of days ago in Japan.
