Starts off with the mail as usual. The viewer comments on Haruki's X-ray picture on the homepage, that it looks cool and that seems to be it. Now what does this leave the hosts to talk about? :P
First thing Haruki does is ofcourse bring up the T-shirt he got made from the picture. He talks about the t-shirt, the design and how it got ranked at 90000 yen or something. Yaguchi is clearly impressed. They talk a lot about the t-shirt and Haruki's stories about incidents involving the T-shirt.
Next topic is big pinch, unexpected truth for Haruki (Not sure. "意外な真相に春樹大ピンチ？！" ). Yaguchi reads something addressed at Haruki, and I think it is referring to when the original X-ray was done, but I'm not certain at all. It doesn't seem that dramatical, but Harukki gets put off a little but none the less.
Movie featured this week is Ratatouille (レミーのおいしいレストラン / Remi's delicious restaurant), a animated movie from Disney about a rat wanting to be a famous chef in Paris. When we are done with the usual presentation, there's some more talk about the movie, how awesome it is that it's all animated, and that Yaguchi wants to see it. But really not much interesting.
Anyway: The topic is food. This leads up to the next section which is called "Hitori rashino oishii restaurant"! Evidently Haruki has brought food on the show, and Yaguchi is supposed to try it out. The dishes served area evidently made out of other dishes, and we get to know how they are composed.
First out is Haruki's curry-rice, although Yaguchi doesn't quite agree that this is regular curry-rice. Second one is "mentai spaghetti" (明太スパゲッティ). Yaguchi laughs when she sees it and it takes some explanation for Yaguchi to get what it's all about. When Yaguchi tries it she has to agree on it being "mentai spaghetti", but has to laugh and comments on it not being prepared/fried long enough. Well... Actually she has a lot more to say about this dish, but I'm not doing a full transcript :P
Third out is Risotto, and Yaguchi really seems to like it. In fact Haruki doesn't believe a word she says, when she makes her judgment.
Fourth dish scares Yaguchi, both by mere sight but also when she gets the full story about how it was made. When trying it out, she has to comments on it being pretty crap, something Haruki finds hard to believe. She even comments on how it feels like it must have been lying around for at least 3 days before being served when eating it.
Just when Yaguchi tries another bite at it, Haruki has the best comment lined up, and I simply refuse to spoil it.
We move on to the weekly recommendations, and this the DVD {url http://tengoku.gyao.jp/]Tengoku ha mattekureru[/url] (天国は待ってくれる / Wait for heaven to come!). Movie looks pretty crap, but Toda Erika is in the cast so I may just watch it anyway :P
They finish it up with a food-challenge. Haruki is to determine what rice comes from which boiler, and evidently there's something sneaky in one of the bowls. Haruki comments on how the two bowls smell completely different and are smelling the bowls down like a dog.
Yaguchi has to ask him to hurry up already. When he finally does what he is asked, Yaguchi again comments on how that is a terribly dirty way of eating.
All in all this episode is very much up and down. There are segments which are pretty funny, but most of it is the mian food-segment, which honestly ain't that amusing. On the flip-side, this episode is pretty easy to follow.
None the less: After last week's episode this one is pretty much a downer. I'm giving it a 2.
