Yaguchi Mari re-appeared on Fuji-TV's Chronos this week, just a few weeks since her last appearance. This weeks game is escape, the location is in the middle of a forest park and they have 70 minutes to keep up. To make sure it is dark and confusing, it all goes down in the early morning, before daybreak. Avoid getting caught and there's money to be won.
Apart from Yaguchi, there are 10 other contestants on this episode: Katou Sayaka (加藤沙耶香), Sadaoka Shouji (定岡正二), Kuwaba Tarie (くわばたりえ), Hosshan (ほっしゃん), Udo Suzuki (ウド鈴木), Mizuno Yuuko (水野裕子), Nishino Akihiro (西野亮廣), Wakkii (Wacky?) (ワッキー), Hide (ヒデ) and Manabe Kawori (眞鍋かをり). And no, I have no idea who these people are. God knows why I even bothered looking up their names :P
Pretty early on the contestants get a message informing them that there is a traitor among them, just to make sure they they don't get too relaxed. This causes some natural suspicion and distrust. I guess it would be pretty boring without a element like this one.
Buuuuut.... There's honestly not that much happening here, just pretty much what you can expect. There are a few amusing remarks every now and then. Like how one of the contestants calls Morning Musume "scary", when hunters shows up right after she met Yaguchi :P
As usual the situation gets worse for the contestants. People get caught, for the ones left, chances are bigger a hunter is hunting for you now, and they are putting in even more hunters. Well sorta.
Can our Urusai Chiibi outlast this one? You know, if she's keeps a chiibi posture and a less urusai nature and all. Guess there's no point in making any detailed report on this one. It's pretty much given what happens, and I don't intend to spoil the outcome for those who haven't seen this one yet.
Some totally off-topic remark: Pretty cool of them to play the music from Tom Tykwer's Lola Rennt (Run Lola Run) during the chase scenes, where people are, well... running :P I have that full soundtrack and it rocks!
For those interested: Next week the game will be "Mystery attendant" and the stage will be an amusement park. Time: 60 minutes. No Yaguchi though.
