So for those wondering about the delay and what made me ditch the worlds finest crowd... You can read about that here. Anyway, I present you: This week's Yaguchi Hitori summary. Oh man oh man oh man.
After the usual mail, Haruki starts talking about miniature gardens. Yaguchi is pretty interested and wants to see it and know more and all that. Haruki keeps telling something about some guy named Ali, the most obnoxious engrossment and stuff until Yaguchi asks him if he is talking about his own sparetime. :P
This weeks movie is Dead or Alive (Directors cut). Ok, so I haven't seen this movie. I mean, this movie looks beyond silly. But if I were to see it, I would not be expecting a proper movie, not expecting a plot, and be watching it just for a cheap laugh. First thing Yaguchi does after they are done with trailer is laugh :P
They talk about the movie, and the word "kakkoii" is mentioned more than once. After they are really done with the trailer Yaguchi does some Dead or Alive poses herself. In the studio. Haruki is not impressed, and this is probably the best part, because he then intends to show how it is done properly.
And we get to watch XD
Next in are some sort of spider-fight specialists. What the? Welcome the guests: A very young shoujo Yawata Sawa and her father Yawata Akihiko. This ofcourse leads to some talk, and since the girl is pretty young, Haruki evidently can't come with any too biting or too ecchi remarks, and it honestly seems like he's somewhat uncertain right here. He comments on the Sawa being cute, and then a somewhat improper remark slips out anyway, which leads Yaguchi to interrupt :P
Anyway: These people are specialists in spider-fights damnit. This is just a lead up to what we just know will be coming: Spiders in the same studio as Yaguchi. Even before the spiders are out of their containers Yaguchi gets out of the chair, ready to run. This is looking good! Even Haruki (sitting next to the people with the spiders) loses his nerves and comments on this being pretty unreasonable :P
Ok! No point in summarizing what follows. Take a look at the screenshots and then download the episode! Ok, a quick summary anyway: The word "muri" has never been said more often, more repeatedly, faster or with more conviction on any prior episode of Yaguchi Hitori. I also don't think Yaguchi has ever called for her mom & dad live on air ever before. Jesus Christ this is good. Oh man oh man oh man OH MAN! At some point here Haruki has to tell Yaguchi "Let's behave profesionally, huh?". Forget the Simpsons movie. Forget Spider-pig. This is the real shit!
There's also some spider fights, and in the end, the little girl has done a pretty neat kanji-trick with Yagchi's name. Go watch yourself!
In the weekly entertainment corner the featured movie is Kaidan (怪談), meaning "Ghost story". It's set in a historical Japanese context and OMG it also features Inoue Mao. So like, it looks super-appealing, and I'm... err... Like I'm gonna check it out, alright?
Right. Ghosts. In the theme of the movie, they also have some pictures, and there are evidently ghosts in the pictures and shit.
Also featured: The movie "Hirose Yuuko no shiawase naru DVD (Aloha no mahou)" (廣瀬裕子のしあわせになるDVD「Alohaのまほう」) and "Viva las Vegas / Elvis". Not really that intersting, but who cares? The rest of the episode pretty much rules.
The torrent as usual and a shitload of screenshots, because this episode is worth it.
More episodes like this, please.
