Show starts of with a reader mail, before they show off a new Yaguchi Hitori posted they have gotten made. Haruki says it looks good and all, but he does does have a few things to say about it.
Especially regarding the names printed. He particularly locks up on the part where it says "Yagu-chan (Yaguchi Mari)" and "Haruki (Gekidan Hitori)". He teasingly asks Yaguchi if Yagu-chan is her "cool" name and what not, and gives her a really tough time. In the end he just says "Well... From this week on, Yagu-chan only it is!". A new in-show character he finds both "Unexpected and convinient".
After having settled this, they go back to the mail, the topic at hand, and Haruki once again brings up the miniature gardens with some pictures. Not the same pictures as last time and Yaguchi just had to ask what the hell this is.
There is lots of talk about this. How this lake thing has goldfish and something about Yagu-chan and godparents. No, I didn't get it.
This week's feature is Grey's anatomy Season 1. Now talk about news! Yagu-chan can inform us this is number one in America, blah blah :P
This brings us to this weeks toy: A medical training kit of some sort. At this point they are both wearing doctors-robes and Haruki is to do some blood-draining training, and Yaguchi emphasizes he should do it properly. You know, it might hurt the poor thing. They fool around a little with this kit before the weekly recommendations come around.
The movie featured is Densen uta (伝染歌). Featuring... Wait! Isn't that chick from AKB48? Like... Meada Atsuko? Yes it is! And Oshima Yuuko? Interesting! And Kojima Haruna?!? This flick is like AKB48-country yo! Oh wait. The movie's homepage, which I just linked to, happens to actually say exactly that. This sounds like Morning Cop, AKB48 version! I got to see this one!
Also covered is Koi suru madori (恋するマドリ) and Oceans 11 - Special Edition. Nothing too special.
Following this is a competition called "Music Box" where the studio-workers sing different songs (horribly), overlapping each others and the hosts are to figure out what the songs are. Not knowing any of these songs, the best part about this (for me at least) was probably how horrid it sounded :P
That's about it. That and Yaguchi must have done something to her hair. Looks slightly different now. Check the screenshots.
All in all, not total suckage, but nowhere near last week's episode either, and rather heavy on the talk too. The preview for next week doesn't look that good either, but we'll see :)
