This episode is all about Haruki. Well... More or less. No matter what the topic is, he seems to be able to sneak in.
The show starts with some talk about America and Disney before the first guest is introduced. Guest in question was a piano player named Matsushita. Not much happening here really, apart that Yaguchi started asking a few amusing questions. As far as I could tell, she was commenting on how tall she was, relatively to her age and Haruki. Ofcourse not at all compared to Yaguchi herself :D
Next guest is no-one else that Abe Natsumi, or Nacchi for short. This is where the episode starts getting good. While Nacchi is there to promote her new musical "White lovers", Yaguchi and Nacchi has worked together for years and it shows. After Nacchi is done assuring the hosts that she loves Yaguchi Hitori, Yaguchi and Nacchi start talking a little about their common past in Hello! Project until Haruki feels a little left out and intervenes.
He goes on about how they may both be former "musumes", but how he rather he'd rather go on a private date with Nacchi than Yaguchi and how horrible Yaguchi actually is in comparison. This just goes back and forth. Yaguchi and Nacchi mocking Haruki and Haruki mocking Yaguchi back. It's pretty damn amusing.
When they're done arguing it's time for a game, the balloon game they've done a few times before. Despite the fact that they have done this thing earlier it's still hysterically fun to watch. Nacchi freaks out even more than Yaguchi, and really let's us know that when Yaguchi called this game "the ultimate psyche", she wasn't kidding. She even tries to get out of it with a few flattering excuses.
There's more to this section, but I won't spoil anything more. This is definitely the section that makes this episode worth watching.
As for the entertainment news, there's a short feature of "The devil wears prada", before YAY! We get another Yaguchi interview special! Yaguchi has evidently attended the press pre-premiere of "A nightmare before christmas", and we get one of those lovely interviews where she totally goofs up.
Presenting herself in English (although this time not as a variety-idol), asking in Japanese if Japanese is OK, getting replies in English which she "thinks" she understand... This is pretty good stuff! Definitely worth watching. Just keep your eyes out at the end of this section. The goof here is simply awesome. Gotta love Yaguchi!
There's also a review of the book "おっぱいバレー", which happens to have a reccomendation by Haruki on the cover. Naturally Haruki has a lot to say on the subject. Before the show ends, we get back to the balloon game where Yaguchi and Nacchi is panicking more than ever.
Yaguchi and her new, dark hairdo haven't made it onto Yaguchi Hitori yet it seems, so you'll all have to wait a little to see that. Apart from that she has tons of cute outfits in this episode, plus a rather weird leopard-top during the Nacchi section.
Seeing as I haven't really gotten too many Yaguchi Hitori episodes lately (supply problems, gah), I was very excited by this episode, and yes, it's a good one. Go watch!
