First thing which happens this week is that Yaguchi appears on screen and looks awesome, so we don't care about there being no guests. Ahem. Right. To the actual events...
Following that we start of with a mail to Yagu-chan, not Yaguchi, and this gets quite some attention, and Yaguchi comments on how the viewers are quick to pick things up. The mail seems to be about what you liked to do and why when you were younger.
Yaguchi has a go at this, but gets sorta interrupted by Haruki most of the time. Forced to answer the question himself, he mention limbo-dancing. Now who saw that coming? This leads up to lots of limbo-talk, and Yaguchi mentions she's done that herself :P
Now let's see if this holds water, as we are getting a in-studio limbo-contest! First round at 1,30m is no challenge for Yaguchi, for obvious reasons, but she still thinks it's fun. For the second round (1m) Yaguchi takes off that awesome hat, but all is cool.
After the limbo is done, we get this weeks featured movie: Sukiyaku Western Django (ウキヤキ・ウェスタンジャンゴ), out September 15th, at least in Japan. It has everything that defines a B-movie, but I must admit it looks pretty awesome. It even features Quentin Tarantino in some small role :)
Short summary of what follows in the studio. We see some more clips from the movie and the hosts agree with me: This thing looks pretty cool. Apart from this, Haruki accuses Yaguchi of liking/yearning for Kimura Yoshino, the main female actress in the movie, and gets a light beating.
In the theme of the movie, being western and actiony and all, they have a Yaguchi Hitori-style sound effect challenge. We get to see the piece they are to add sounds too, and hearing Yaguchi "think" out loud here is just too cute. Not to mention the story is kinda untraditional :)
As for the weekly entertainment corner. Yaguchi makes a odd introduction, Haruki makes a odd smile, and Yaguchi has to ask him why. Haruki on the other hand asks the guy doing this week's recommendations (a musician) "Isn't that a somewhat bad thing?", playing a chello and all. Good grief XD Anyway: This week's movie is Music and lyrics. I'd go for Sukiyaki Western Django to be honest. Yaguchi on the other hand, she loves Hugh Grant :P
In theme of the movie, the competition here is about lovesongs, played backwards. The price this week is a signed movie poster, with Hugh Grant signature. Yaguchi goes crazy and makes sure it's not a Hugh Grant signature but Hugh Grant's signature. Am I the only who seems to think the prices are picked out for Yaguchi only at this point? :P
Other movies covered is Breaking and entering and Jackie Chan's Drunken Master.
This week's episode was on overall highly amusing. Not up there but absolutely above average. Plus Yaguchi looks dashing in the first half. So go watch already!
As usual screenshots and torrent.
Next week's episode is brainy episode where they finally get to use their heads according to the preview, so it doesn't look totally crazy. Oh well.
