Second day of the Marippe festivities on Uta Doki.
Today she brings us a ballad. Sad ballad it seems, and they fittingly have applied a make-up which shows little tears on the lashes. Nice touch.
Not much movement this time as that would have totally destroyed the mood here...
And Mari exercises some gestures that no doubt she learned from that master of dramatic hand movements, Ayaya.
Nice one again, though I wish the director had dispensed with that tradition of placing the singers in the extreme corner of the frame or cutting them in half at the side or placing out-of-focus props in one half of the picture. And that silly notion of having text plastered all over the screen.
But that can do doubt take away from a beautiful performance.
