Yaguchi Mari was on Fuji-TV's Minna no Eiken, which pretty much translates into Everyone's English-exam. This seems like a Japanese program about Engrish without the Japanese even knowing it. This gotta go good! :D
From time to time you can notice that this show seems somewhat cut, but honestly I didn't feel like I was missing out much. This is a totally OK rip.
First thing we notice is that they actually speak English on this show. Second thing we notice is that Yaguchi is definitely the most eager one to get going. Does that mean she will pwn the rest of the guests? We will see!
This thing is silly from end to end. If you want to know the level tested here, examination 1 is simply pronouncing the word "McDonald's"! This thing is both funny and cute at the same time. And you can see the contestants really trying and concentrating! At times you can even see the pride in their eyes. This is both beautiful and amusing :D
Not spoiling the outcome here, but those who have seen Yaguchi trying to haggle using English on her Love Hello-DVD, might get be somewhat surprised ;)
