This week's episode is mostly talk and no guests. It's not bad per se, but it seems to be a somewhat slow start on the new year. Still it goes by surprisingly fast.
Show opens with a question about what to do about nervousness, mental strain, tension and stuff like that. Yaguchi says she writes in her diary every day, and this is ofcourse something Haruki wants to take a look at for himself. Yaguchi defends herself as well as she can, as long as she can. And, no, he cannot have a copy XD
I'm not sure if we are still talking about general things to do to relief tension, but Haruki says he likes going for zero-g trips. So we get to see some pictures from Haruki's zero-g flight, with some zero-g pimping included.
This week's movie is Kaabee (母べえ), and it's a slow drama, even backed by classical music. As usual they talk a little bit about the movie, before they move on.
Following next Haruki has all these odd lyrics prepared, and he reads them in the oddest way possible. Yaguchi's job is to figure out which of them isn't genuine lyrics. Just to set the record straight: This involves classy phrases like "Bad breath flamingo" and "Erotic urine". This is no easy task!
We later get to hear the actual songs, to see if Yaguchi got it right or wrong. I must say: I think I may missed something by avoiding old Japanese folk-songs. This is literally quite funny. Don't worry: You'll get it once you see the episode ;)
In the weekly entup corner, Maimai has this week's featured movie: My fair lady. When asked, Yaguchi admits to not having seen it, something Haruki finds shocking.
Anyway: In the theme of the movie, Maimas has prepared a game: The celebrity shopping game. The challenge for Yaguchi and Haruki is to select the most expensive items they can find in Maimai's prepared list. Despite Haruki's zero-g pimping, I think Yaguchi may have a slight edge here ;)
Not telling you who wins this one, but the loser refuses to believe what is being told and decides to call a eight billion yen object "cheap". Nice one :P
And that's it. There's not too much happening, but I'm not going to call it a slow episode either, because while watching this all of a sudden the episode was over. Was that 20 minutes?!?
Oh! Next week's episode looks kick-ass by the way.
