Yaguchi Hitori Maru C (15.4.2008)

2008.4.17 - prodygee

While Jostein is being lazy, sleeping, he forced me to go and review this week's Yaguchi Hitori. And man I just love to do that! I'm kidding, but he is sleeping, so I'll do his review today. The show starts off rather slow and it's not full of the glory we normally get, but it's fair enough. Oh man Yaguchi looks cute during the start

The show -with Yaguchi looking marvelously cute here- starts with a seriously random question, coming from Haruki: "占いは好きかい?". If Yaguchi likes fortune telling. She doesn't directly reply to that but she says she does believe it. Haruki is pretty fond on fortune telling and says he studied and took lessons in using tarot cards. Then he presents his tarot cards and uses them on Yaguchi.

He's acting like a real pro here, and judging from Yaguchi's face, she has her doubts. Haruki does his thing with the cards, Yaguchi does her thing with her wonderful expressions and reactions. A fun fact to know is that Yaguchi answers to a question I can't decipher: "I like money", a short silence follows this moment with Haruki saying "Undoubtedly.." in a sarcastic manner!

Enough about the tarot, but still thinking about Yaguchi's priceless reactions, let's move to the movie. First they let their guest, Ogawa Akio (小川明男 ) come in. He's an "お寿司監修者", an osushikanshuusha. Better said, a specialist when it comes to sushi.

So this weeks movie is: "Hoshi no Ouji New York He Iku" (星の王子 ニューヨークへ行く). It looks like a very fun comedy to watch with all those random Japanese jokes and humor put in, and even some DBZ reference is in there.

After the video trailer, Haruki thinks up of a game, he likes to call the 'Hit down game'. And boy this game sure is fun! (寒い - lame) They use Yahoo to find prices of sushi kinds and they try to name the cheapest one. There's nothing more to explain. But it's sort of interesting to see those extremely high prices for those sushi.

But to top the boringness of this part of the show with something better, the staff prepared the sushi which Yaguchi and Haruki made back then. 板チョコポップコーン寿司: Squid, topped with chocolate popcorn-sushi. Hmm, let's have some.

After the commercial we have the Weekly Entertainment Up corner, Maimai brought us a German movie 「厨房で逢いましょう」 (Let's meet at the kitchen). The trailer pretty much explains the movie when you know the title. A man meeting up with a lady in a kitchen. This man's love isn't in his stomach, he makes love to go in your stomach.. (did that sound wrong?)

Then for the game in the Ent-Up corner, Maimai goes French! No not with Haruki, she speaks French and Yaguchi and Haruki are supposed to tell what she says. In the background you see someone spoiling all the answers. Maimai sure looks hot with that nose. And she sure can speak some French without a Japanese accent at all! "Je suis française~!" And she tells us that she totally never ever speaks French, neat.

During the Entertainment Flash there's Shin chan again we have seen on another show, and some other very cool looking movie.

After this some more super awesome French from Maimai! Now I don't like French, but she's good! She has a wonderful French accent, but her grammar is kind of wrong: "Bien sûr, je veux faire des cadeau a vous." (Good day, I want to do a present to you) :P

It's pretty fun to watch this part of the show if you use French now and then. Especially when Haruki starts to guess random stuff like whipped cream when she starts with "Le Fromage".

The show ends with an "オヴア~ァ" (Ovuaaa - Au revoir xD) from all three hosts.

The show started of slowly but got funnier at the end plus Yaguchi looks awesome in the start, equals hi-score! :)

Here's le torrent pour vous. ;)
