This week's episode (featuring Yaguchi anyway) of Midtown TV is out. Guests this time is Niigaki Risa, Kamei Eri, Koharu Kusumi and Linlin. Linlin somewhat surprisingly calls herself "Omae no baby Linlin". Guess she has the sex appeal down now ;)
Everyone pretty much knowing each other already, the introduction is a bit more lively. Yaguchi even tells Kamei that "I'm not listening to you. I'm talking to Gakk-san!" :D
In Nama Yaguchi news we have Biyuden promoting their latest and final single, Nani mo Iwazu ni I love you, release April 23rd. Ofcourse the MM-members follows up with mentioning their new single, Resonant Blue ;)
After watching the PV, which gets a few comments, Niigaki gets asked to recreate the mood/feel of the PV. Almost immediately she falls apart, complaining that it's embarrassing. Well, they all get asked and most of them do the same ;)
Capturing the mood of the song, Yaguchi comments on the title of the song, and that it has a blue feel to it. Therefore the guests are to talk about what a blue feelings is to them. To finish it off, Yaguchi tells us her story. In her dreams she is regular anime voice-actress which she thinks is cool and all that. But then she wakes up, to the real world. Blue feelings indeed! XD Koharu doing Kirarin ofcourse gets some admiration and flattery ;)
None of the flattery is returned though: Next section up is "Yaguchi's inferior brain Idol Competition" or something to that extent. Say hi to the home team! XD
In this section there is the Midtown TV crew against the MM-members. One member from each team is given questions, and it the point is to hit the buzzer and answer correctly first.
This might sound rather boring and it's definitely not grand, but every once in a while there is some good stuff here. Like when the home-team guy is so eager to win that he buzzes and answers exactly the same as Koharu did 2 seconds ago. Also Linlin does a pretty good job here, given her background and all. If nothing else, she's definitely the cutest one up there ;)
We also have the two biggest goofs battle up against each other (that guy and Kamei Eri), before we finish off with Yaguchi vs Niigaki and the theme being fashion. Yaguchi is so on to this one, she hits quickly and hard. But misses the buzzer. This is definitely the pair with the most rivalry :D
The intense effort from both sides might be related to the price, which is something sweet, chocolaty and edible. And if effort counts, Morning Musume definitely has the edge here.
Following this battle is some mimicking-contest, where the two teams one by one are to mimick stuff and the rest of the team are to guess. Not really all that exciting, except for how the various members overreacts and freaks out when the rest doesn't get it ;)
Third challenge seems to be about blowing up a baloon. Without blowing it up ofcourse. Think Hello! Morning style on a per-team turn basis and you get the idea. This goes on for a bit long, but that only adds to the complete hysteria, so I guess it's OK.
At the end there is also a WTF European U-15 thingie. No idea about this. But it's in Akihabara. Whatever.
On next week's episode: Biyuden. It's also the last episode of this show :( I hope they make this a really good one.
This episode wasn't off the charts or anything, but the introduction and the talk there was way above average. And Linlin looks very good here. If you need any reason to DL this, those might suffice ;)
