First this: Excuse me a lot for not being able to review every show out there, I'm busy with my final exams plus Jostein is having a wonderful vacation (which I'm not blaming him for), so I just don't have that much time! Please bear with me.
Get ready for a kick-ass super energetic insect sushi-eating episode of Yaguchi Hitori Maru(C)! Let's go! - This reviews is filled with as much energy as this week's episode.
No intro-talk this time again, we're going straight into what the show is about, the main movie of the show: 「ひぐらしのなく頃に」 (When They Cry - literally: When Cicadas Cry). Another one of those Japanese teen-age schoolkids movies where weird stuff happen. Now that's nothing out of the ordinary! Note the sudden atmosphere change during the start :).
Not to waste any time, the guests are 'summoned' in by Yagucchan, the two leading-role players: 飛鳥凛 (Asuka Rin) and 前田公輝 (Maeda Gouki). These two have known each other since high-school and both became actors in the same movie. And considering the subject they're talking about at that moment, Haruki finds that the perfect moment to reshow Yaguchi's instant-win photo's where she was cos-playing some schoolgirl.
Yaguchi herself does think she looks so lovely: アレ かわいいは、あたしコレ. I won't disagree with that!
Yaguchi is rather energetic this episode, you should've noticed already, but get ready for some more after the movie preview.
I hope you all remember or know that Yaguchi seriously HATES bugs! 虫壽司 (mushi sushi) is what their batsu-game snack will be. Now guess what that could be ;).
The hit-down game itself is - if you ask me - plain boring, but the batsu-game is seriously kick ass! The goal is that they try to name several kinds of sushi which should get cheaper in price when placed after each other. It's good that they're having a hard time, though, leaving us with priceless footage!
First course: Grasshopper sushi! Yaguchi gets a huge burst of energy from this one already, especially when she squeezes the sushi which causes the grasshoppers to stand up! Then suddenly it doesn't taste bad? Who knows.. Yaguchi sure is noisy. xD
Second course: Bee-larva sushi! Everyone sure seems to love it :). Yaguchi sure knows how to make me lol! Oh no! One of the larva's fell off! WHAT NOW!?
Haruki makes note that a 17 year old girl did better than her. And he bullies her a little more. Having a hard time keeping it down, I'd feel the same. One thing which is kind of funny is Yaguchi saying "Ugh, I did good today". Teehee~
Third course: Waterbug sushi! It's a certain water bug only living in Japan or something. I'm not telling what happens! Find out yourself ;).
Then in the Entertainment-UP corner we've got a movie we've seen before. A samurai movie. Haruki tries a scene from the movie, totally failing it.
In this battle, they have to guess who they're seeing, how could they ever guess "horse" or "strawberry" from this, without even laughing. But then. Haruki then thinks of something fun, since they've won the battle. I think it smells liek an old mushy swamp, but I'm not sure :P.
