San pun Maru (10.7.2008)

2008.7.11 - prodygee

San pun maru. Three minute circle. Well it's actually almost five minutes, but that doesn't really matter at all. This show has this style which I quite like a lot. Filmed at an angle which is nice to look at.

The intro is really energetic, fitting to Yaguchi a lot. The question here is is how much fun you can have with a 1000 yen bill. Not with the piece of paper itself, but what you can do with it. The question is followed by a short vtr where you can see some old pictures of Yaguchi, some which we've seen before.

Quoting what Yaguchi said, it means something like "Having fun at hippopotamus warehouse Happy Tour with 1000 yen". If you're an expert, tell us because it's always good to improve our Japanese.

Here Yaguchi shows us her recommended happy points, simply: spots Yaguchi loved to be at. Her preferred spot would be 鶴岡八幡宮 (tsuruoka hachimanguu), the Tsuruoka Yawata shrine. Then at the bottom of the screen we can read "Why is this your happy-point?".

She points at the pigeons, and Yaguchi tells us that on places where happyness can be found, there are lots of pigeons. They're attracted by happyness. Hence the 'hachi' kanji looking like two pigeons on the shrine. And there go 5 yen of the total of 1000.

Be sure to take something to eat now, since Yaguchi is getting something too, and it looks delicious. Luckily I'm already eating my dinner here. Also you can see Yaguchi's purse for a sec. Not something too interesting, but it's cool to have seen it.

It's is said that shards bring luck, so Yaguchi has a specific point of interest in common with that. A place where you can throw clay pots at a rock for luck. And it feels good to do that, appearantly. After this, she's left with only 55 yen. And goes to buy some ricecrackers.

Ieeei! The end! Now those we're some cool 5 minutes!
