This week's episode has no guests, but is still pretty OK.
Show opens with some talk. Lots of talk. Haruki tells a story about how he went to Nakano to eat some ramen. Evidently nobody could remember or find his reservation, no matter how much he tries to refresh their memory. No luck.
Evidently there was some doppel ganger who had taken his reservation. Nagai Hidekazu (長井秀和). Which looks quite a like. Spooky eh? ;)
Yaguchi also tries to tell a story, but Haruki is not impressed. Not impressed at all. Haruki comments on the story, presentation and all that, and to be honest Yaguchi's reactions to the feedback is much more fun than the story itself. There is a take two, but she still fails :P
This weeks movie: A million yen and the sourface woman (百万円と苦虫女 / Hyaku man en to Nigamushi onna). What a title! :D
It doesn't look like Haruki's favourite kind of film, as he makes all kinds of silly remarks along the way. In the end (after he says "The end!") Yaguchi has to ask if he is sleepy or something ;)
They talk a little about what you can do with a million yen. They evidently also have some cash handy in studio, and Yaguchi is busy, in deep concentration counting the stacks. From here on it's pretty much money talk and, well, talk about money. There is a interesting bit in the middle here though, where Yaguchi asks how much money is appropriate to spend on a wedding gift.
Haruki, totally dry, answers thirty thousand yen. Yaguchi immediately falls over laughing, while Haruki isn't sure what he did wrong. "Is that a problem?" Yaguchi tells him at least fifty thousand.
Yaguchi makes some promises about what she'll do and spend when Haruki gets married, but has that kinda look saying "Like that is ever gonna happen!". Haruki calls bullshit on her :D
Following this is a section is something I honestly don't get, but it seems to be a greetings-card workshop of some sort. Yaguchi makes something involving a magnetic contraption. Haruki does things a little bit different as usual. Yaguchi does nont approve and starts serving the Hidoi's.
When Yaguchi thinks he is done, he finishes of with a slightly hentai joke :P
This is actually rather funny, at least the last bit, bit this is where the real fun starts: "Yaguchi Hitori (C) Camp Dahoi Project". This is involves that Haruki goes shopping at a 100 yen store, and buys 100 items. He ends up with a total of 9,135 yen.
Yaguchi first innocently tries on a hat before Haruki cautiously brings out another bag. "Chotto matte!". Haruki has bought what looks like a panties and a sports-bra. Kids-sizes. Yaguchi, not sure what to make of this, goes "Hey! I'm an adult!". For some reason no alarms go off and no-one gets hurt when Haruki says "but that's OK" :D
Yaguchi goes muttering "This isn't hentai, is it?". Ofcourse Haruki is also dressing up. Together they manage to produce the least tasteful combination of clothing ever presented on this show.
Episode also includes Haruki fiddling around inside his 945yen outfit. Apart from that spider incident back last year, I don't think I've heard Yaguchi complain and yell as much as she does here in ages. She doesn't stop doing this until the show is over more or less :D
They also make a tent out of parts from the 100 yen shop. Yaguchi does not stop complaining. Yeah this part is pretty good.
Only complaint I have is that first part is too long, and second: There is no weekly entup corner, no Maimai! This just be Maimai's week off for the summer! Featured in entertainment flash: Kamen rider, Collectors edition.
This episode is kinda slow starting, but picks up. I'll give it a 4. Yaguchi makes lots and lots of awesomely cute faces here, so lots of screenshots :D
