As reported everywhere else, the exclusive Yaguchi and Tsuji Hawaii Fanclub-DVD is out.
I saw this mentioned in the forums a few days ago and thought maybe I should mention it, but in the end I decided not to. Why? I thought Id give a proper report more than a short writeup merely acknowledging its existence.
Today I had the tough choice between watching the "Love is born" Otsuka Ai concert in full hi-def or the Yaguchi & Tsuji Fanclub-DVD, and believe me, it was a tough choice. In case you didn't notice, I went for the Fanclub-DVD.
It's a long one with a playing-time a little short of 2 hours. Let's get down to it.
The DVD opens Yaguchi and Nono discussing various things, including photo-shoots. The real fun starts when they meet the fans and various contests are held. In the different contests two teams battle each other: The Yaguchi team and the Tsuji team. There's quite a few of them:
- Rope pulling concert
- Limbo-dancing contest
- Water baloon-catching contest
- Running around with floatables (see screenshots)
For the rope pulling Tsuji tries to motivate her team by telling the fans how much she loves them.
Regarding the limbo-dancing (which Tsuji finds sexy) this may be pretty simple for Yaguchi, but her fans are having a few troubles, as you may see in the screenshots.
The teams get points for their efforts during the different contests, although they may seem rather made up as we get presented the score for Tsuji's team in the floatable-competition.
After this the fans get to have their groupshot taken with Yaguchi and Tsuji. It's getting dark and they light up a giant campfire, show of some sekushi posu for the fans and have a sing-along with Morning Mususme's "Dekkai uchuu ni ai aru". A few select fans get to have a one-on-one talk with Yaguchi and Tsuji. Over a ridiculously tall table.
The fans range from entirely normal people and entirely normal girls to ones fitting the typical otaku stereotype. One actually brough his Guuchi Mari dolls!
After this there's a audio-only section named "Funky friday night" where Yaguchi and Tsuji dicusses a few things and generally have a laugh. There's a few amusing things being mentioned, but if you don't know japanese this part can easily be skipped.
After this Yaguchi and Tsuji (along with their fans) make some cute custom key-rings, with a official fanclub stamp so that it's not just any custom key-ring.
There's also quite a few live performances on the DVD, and we get to see the preparation for the concert as well. Yaguchi bosses Tsuji around a little, and Tsuji seems somewhat nervous and insecure about the dance-routine.
Yaguchi and Tsuji performs together, but also has their own solo acts. So if you don't know japanese but just want to see Yaguchi singing this DVD is also for you. The sets are as follows.
Yaguchi and Tsuji:

- Minimoni's Strawberry pie (but sadly without Kago Ai)
- Tsuyoki de ikouze!
- Sexy boy ~Soyokaze ni yorisotte~
Yaguchi's solo set:
- Tanpopo's Koi wo shicha imashita
- Yeah! Meccha holiday
Tsuji's solo set:
- Matrsuura Aya's Kiseki kaori dance
- Fujimoto Miki's Romantic ukare mode
That about sums it up. And this is a exclusive fanclub release, so there's no way for mere mortals to get hold of it. That is, unless you poke around at Hello! Online. Merry christmas!
