This week's episode was pretty good. In fact so good you would probably date it if you could.
This episode opens right up with this week's theme: Saraba Kamen Rider Den-O - Final / Count Down (劇場版 さらば仮面ライダー電王 ファイナル・カウントダウン). Reason being there's a roadshow coming up. In that regard we have New Den-O, played by Sakurada Toori (桜田通) visiting.
Will this translate into studio fun? You betcha!
First thing our guest does is remember Haruki beating one of his friends in a challenge in a earlier episode. This has to be avenged: With janken pyon. Also by a helmet and a hammer he has brought and which he intends to club Haruki in the head with.
Haruki freaks out, Yaguchi laughs. When Haruki complains for a variety of reasons, Yaguchi tells him "But you are awesome!" and to to be brave about it. Haruki only finishes one round, before complains that if he had to do this again, he thinks there would be a section with monkeys coming up. Interpret at will. (Ps: He has a few more rounds) :D
The guest, once humon, is revealed to be, like a big Yaguchi Hitori fan, at least sort of. Haruki obviously has no confidence in himself and is entirely suprised. He evidently started watching around the renewal.
We get some clips from the movie.
Discussing the actual transformations the riders do, Haruki tries to do some poses himself. He may not have Kamen Rider confuzed with Saturday Night Fever, but it can kinda look like it.
Following this Haruki gets a count down from everyone in the studio, and has to tell everyone (in Japan) what kind of being he thinks Kamen rider is. People in the studio are lightly "offended" by his reply :D
He is once again taken by surprise, completely lost, and it seems like noone has handed him a script for the episode. It's fun seeing Haruki not having a grip every now and then ;)
Following this we have Maimai in the studio early! Let the count-down games begin: Haruki has to fire peanuts with his nose, and you better believe he is concentrating and dead serious here :D
Yaguchi on the other hand, her count down is to balancing a grasshopper on her nose and then eating it. She is superbly proud, and going all "Mita? Mita? Sogukunai countdown ne?" I'm not making this up :D
The guest has to crack an egg, and hit Haruki's mouth with it. From two meters height! XD
IN the weekly ent-up corner we have Sushi Ouko! New York he Iku (スシ王子！ ～ニューヨークへ行く～」). Maimai presents the movie, then talks about nothing except "kawaii desu ne!!!" action figurines related to the movie ;)
What is related to the movie is the game: "Find the sushi!" This is pretty boring stuff compared to the rest of the episode, but both of the hosts' reaction to one of the sushis here is gold XD
Fure! Fure! And we're done. No idea what is up next week, but it looks like fun :D
