So new week and I have new toys. I know you don't really care about my new Asus EEE PC, but if this seems a little bit rushed, you may know I kinda have an excuse :D
This week's movie: Red line. It seems like yet another street-racing movie and except for all the "sekushi no bishoujotachi" it looks pretty dull to be quite honest :P
Since it's about racing cars and stuff, Yaguchi goes on about cars. Dead serious she tells Haruki the price of a Ferrari (120,000,000 yen) and he is all "Ehh?! :D"
Somehow this turns into a conversation about curry, total defeat and what a crime Yaguchi's curry was. No really! Yaguchi finishes off by saying that she is dead sure Haruki would want to be waiting for it next time ;)
Guest is "boss" Takahashi Shouoo (高橋勝大) from Takahashi Racing. They show some stunt pictures and talk about stunts. They show some stunt-driving, and Yaguchi is surprised to see that there are female stunt-drivers :P
Anyway. Watching it a few stunts, it's obvious it doesn't take much to get Yaguchi paranoid. When the stuntmen (and women) are finished off and about to bow, Yaguchi is expecting someone to come and drive them down :D
The guest talks a little about how stunts are done, Harauki tries on some props, before Yaguchi announces that it's time for Yaguchi Hitori Maru(C) ACTION! Naturally Haruki is the one responsible for the work, and looking somewhat worried he goes asking "Am I going to be put on fire, or what?" :D
For his stunt, they have the perfect vehicle: a tri-wheeler. For kids. Haruki comments on the lack of realism: "A thing like that could never burn!". We'll see how it turns out ;)
Maimai-corner. This week she recomendation is 特命係長 只野仁 最後の劇場版. Yeah, that one. Looks pretty cool though. And it features Gravure idols, not to mention maid kissas. Release December 6th! Although that might be in cinemas, and only Japan. Even Yaguchi says this one seems to have awesome showdowns, so you better keep an eye out!
Maimai's challenge this week is "How much? Is this free (ただ)?". Not very, very interestin
g, but the last question is sorta interesting to see them figure out: Is the Oscar Academi awards something you receive for free?
