So not having seen the movie I have absolutely no idea if this is total dreck or not, but hey! It has Yaguchi in it, so it can't be all bad.
ampedechoz had this handy amazon link. I couldn't find it at CDJapan yet, but if it's out, it is out, and it probably just a matter of time before they have it in stock as well.
Go crazy, go buy ;)
Update: Now also at CDJapan. Unfortunately this release seems to have no subs. Maybe a later international release?

ampedechoz over at JPM has reported that there is more info on the subject over at Official Hello! Project homepage.
From what I can see there isn't too much new stuff, basically confirming most of the info already out there. What's new is that is now has a official site hosted by Gyao. Also the movie will be 92 minutes long.
Not much, but thought I'd report it none the less.

ampedechoz has news on the little one, and according to him, Yaguchi Mari will be working on the dubbed, Japanese soundtrack for the world first full-length 3d movie "Journey to the center of the earth", as the role of Hannah.
Other people also working on the Japanese dub is Sawamura Ikki, Anita Briem and Irie Jingi. The Japanese release date is scheduled to be October 25th, and it is expected to cause a "explosion" in movie-technology and interest in 3D movies.
Not major news, but I thought I'd just mention it anyway. It's always good to see that Yaguchi is busy :) Like with the anime she did voices for, too bad there will be no 3D Yaguchi here.

Thanks to Bram MMI for this one. Yaguchi's picture on the official H!P site has now been updated, after not having changed since 2005.
I'm sure you all have noticed how that picture never changed, and even have gotten used in recent event promotions and what not. So what's up with this?
Does H!P now finally have some plans for our Yaguchi, a new single perhaps? That's at least what some other people seem to be thinking or hoping.
Not getting hopes up myself, I must admit it was about time they got her a new one. Let's see what happens :)

Thanks to ampedechoz for posting this. For those interested, I'm delighted to announce (or parrot) that Yaguchi's movie Kung fu kun will be available on DVD in August. August 6th to be exact.
As far as I can tell it's a regular DVD, not Bluray, and most likely region 2 like all other Japanese releases. You guys in the US better find yourself a region-free player asap.
Preorder your first press, speciel edition copy at CDJapan or whatever your preferred online-store is now :)

These news are not at all related to Yaguchi at all, but I thought that people here might be interested none the less. NTV will starting tomorrow begin airing a new show called "The M" featuring Ishii Tatsuya, Sakai Noriko and Gekidan Hitori.
Show will also feature guests, including Gou Hiromi as a history guest, Kiki Kirin as a special guest, DJ Ozma as a music guest. I take it these are regulars.

As already mentioned, Yaguchi Mari and Ineba Atsuko will have a shared fan-club tour in mid-april. In less than a week actually.
H!P knows to monetize and ampedechoz found their secret list of fan-club loot. Right here folks! All the goods seems to be teamed up with a 2-picture photo-set.
As a nice fan-service, for only 300 yen you can buy a Mari & Atsuko paper-bag to keep all your stash in should you want the complete set ;)

We knew about this one, but ampedechoz from JPM has dug up some articles and pictures, so I thought I'd report a little more on this. Evidently besides Yaguchi, also there was people like Yukina Kinoshita, Aragaki Yui, Hoshino Aki, Nakagawa Shoko, Shizu-chan and Leah Dizon.
While ampedechoz has managed to find quite a few references to this event, there doesn't seem to much details about Yaguchi's involvement. What we do know is that she was one of the main MCs for the event (other MC being Fukazawa Rina).

Yaguchi Mari has written the introductory commentary for a new manga release from Takanashi Mitsuba " Akuma de Kou".

ampedehoz on JPM posted this scan of a Japanese article featuring Yaguchi and some information on here current stage-play.
I hoped it would be a review or something to that extent. Something to tell us if it is doing well or not, but as far as I can see (and yeah I just skimmed it), it's mostly background stuff on the play.
Yaguchi does mention a few things though. That she always likes a big challenge. That she was lucky for getting so good advice from her elders and what not.
