So new week and I have new toys. I know you don't really care about my new Asus EEE PC, but if this seems a little bit rushed, you may know I kinda have an excuse :D

This week's movie: Red line. It seems like yet another street-racing movie and except for all the "sekushi no bishoujotachi" it looks pretty dull to be quite honest :P

Since it's about racing cars and stuff, Yaguchi goes on about cars. Dead serious she tells Haruki the price of a Ferrari (120,000,000 yen) and he is all "Ehh?! :D"

New week, but since the American presidential election just ended and everyone seems busy discussing the results, I might as well just skip it this week. For those still interested: This week's intro reaks. At least something in studio does, and it has the entire crew in panic. This looks promising! :D

Haruki starts off asking Yaguchi "How have things been going lately?". Yaguchi seems a little confused, so Haruki fills in the blanks "You know, with the Banana Diet". Yaguchi looks puzzled for a short second before she answer "Oh that. I've quit that one already!" :D

Yaguchi partying with Suzanne

2008.10.30 - Jostein

Thanks to lovemusic for this one. Yaguchi is evidently frequenting some other mainstream idols, and is in the inner circle of who Suzanne calls friends.

Picture, and not much more info over at Suzanne's blog. As we can see, also there (front left) is Ogura Yuko, and I might be seeing thing, but the one in the back middle looks kinda like Toda Erika to me.

The first thing that strikes you when you see the intro to this week's episode is that Yaguchi has done something to her hair. And that spectacular things seems to be happening in studio. Let's sum it up!

In the opening talk, Yaguchi tells us she has begun on a banana diet. Haruki, always the gentleman, blurts out "That's a tad late, isn't it?". Yaguchi in her defence comments that TV personalities and talents always lose weight and become extremely thin. Obviously not a good thing. Haruki brings up the balance ball and getting some exercise. He still loves Yaguchi though ;)

Well kinda. I've now IPv6-enabled my network and even have my own /48 range. Besides being able to do fancy stuff on irc (yeah, I know), it basically means my entire LAN just left the LAN and became public addressable internet.

I'm sure that sounds all fancy and stuff, but what's in it for you? At the moment absolutely nothing :D

Still, if you are IPv6-enabled, it'd be nice if you tried it out, so that I got to test out my setup and knows that things works. Due to various humbug reasons, you need to use the new url www6.yaguchimari.org to use it though.

This week's ultra-short summary: Yaguchi pimps her voice-acting job, featured movie looks boring, they have a bus-guide as a studio guest and there is no Maimai to be seen. Why on earth am I giving this one a good rating?!?

So the show starts and Yaguchi tells us about her heart's most earnest desire (念願, nengan): Doing voice-acting (声優, seiyuu). This coincidentally times well with the cinematic release of Journey to the center of the earth (25th October, this week). Haruki asks if Yaguchi's role (役, yaku) is the center of the movie. It isn't :P

So for those of you who don't spend every waking second checking the Hello! Online newsfeed, I just thought I'd let you know H!P just imploded on itself. Total collapse.

In fact they are graduating entire Elder Club. Like Kuno says: "Yep. All of them".

That means all the oldtimers are gone and out of there. Also Ongaku Gatas gets the axe.

I'm not going to speculate on just how deeply H!Ps money-problems are getting these days, apart from that the last two years we have seen a steady decline in everything looking like budgets when it gets to H!P. TV-shows? PVs? They've been getting cheaper by the day.

Uhm... You might have noticed that this year reports on anything not Yaguchi Hitori has been "somewhat" in decline. Well, what happened?

Speaking only for myself, I can say this. You only have so much time and we all set up some priorities. I guess this year was the year where I got kinda fed up watching hour after hour of various badly cut Yaguchi-appearances on random shows, trying to make sense of it all, or trying to keep interest despite complete lack of context, and simply decided I have better things to do.

A new week, a new episode and you are in luck! I haven't gotten my new fancy Perfume GAME Tour live DVD despite CDJapan shipping it over 24 hours ago, so ... To my dismay I have time for some Yaguchi Hitori ;)

Before we get anywhere in this episode, Yaguchi brings up last week's episode, and treats Haruki with pet like cutesy. The subtext even has hearts. Seemed she fancied this :P

Yaguchi then proceeds to announce that Haruki has a new "golden time" program coming up: Manaberu news show (学べる!!ニューズショー!). Unless I'm mistaken, it will start airing 7 in the morning, October 21th and the first episode will be a 2 hour special. That is, Tuesday next week Haruki will be making his debut as a (news) caster.

This week's episode starts directly with this week's movie being announced. You wont believe me, but it's Furefure shoujo. Again. No really. Guest is even Natsuko-san (奈津子) from the Ganbare/Furefure section.

Yaguchi calls her Nacchan and then asks if it's OK to call her Nacchan. Haruki is visibly upset about this, calls Yaguchi out on it, and then turns back to Natsuko, "Gomen Nacchan!". Classic moves from Haruki. After some clearing up (it's OK for Haruki), Natsuko reveals that she is a fan. Unlike last week's guest, not as much of the show as of Gekidan Hitori :P
